We are the owners of Maluhia Hale on the Big Island of Hawaii. We have been coming to the Big Island since 2001 and explored many lovely places along the way.
The Big Island has endless things to do. It’s by far the largest of the Hawaiian Islands and uniquely you can find eleven of the thirteen climatic zones on the earth somewhere on the Big Island. At places you can literally drive 15 minutes and go from tropical rain to desert sun or have the temperature change by 20 degrees (Fahrenheit!).
On our blog you will find information about many beautiful beaches, snorkeling spots, restaurants, hikes and all sorts of adventure activities. We have also included links to a few of our favorite companies on the island. Enjoy!
As our home – Maluhia Hale at Hualalai is on the magical resort of The Four Seasons Hualālai we are very partial to all of the restaurants the resort has to offer. There are four – Ulu, The Beach Tree, The Resident’s Beach House and The Hualalai Grille. You can’t go wrong with any of these and the first three are all on the beach with perfect views of unbelievable sunsets.
